Hi,I have two XP pc's that send faxes no problem and they share the same
incoming phone line. I enabled both to 'receive' but when a fax comes in they
get confused and both receive a 'partial' . So I'm assuming that I can't have
both of them on and enabled to receive. If this is the way it should be my
question is how can I receive a single fax on both machines at once? I want
to avoid networking the computers. Can someone tell me if there is a program
available to accomplish this?
Thanks

The incoming fax will only train on one machine. Once the training
is complete, the sending fax machine stops broadcasting the CNG
tones so that the other fax modem would not recognize an incoming
fax signal. You can use a sneaker network to get the fax to the
other machine. That is you could use a floppy disk or a USB flash
memory drive to take the fax to the other machine.
