View Full Version : xp sp2 wont boot

After a fresh sp2 installation xp wont boot. It stops after the windows logo
screen. Then i wait and wait for the mouse icon to appear but nothing. I
tried reinstalling works for a couple of boots then returns to the old
problem. evry time i swith of pc i have to reinstall windows
Help Please

Does it boot in Safe Mode?

yes it does boot in safe mode

Driver issue - likely video card.
In safe mode, remove the video card drivers... Reboot into normal mode, use
the internet to get the latest drivers for your video card and install them,
reboot.

It was all sorted as soon as i disabled on board game port.
Pity i did not know this before.
