For some reason the past three days the number of "pop-up"
I have been receiving has increased almost ten-fold DAILY.
I use McAfee Spam-Killer, but lately with all the noises
of it killing pop-ups my computer sounds like the Civil
War. Someone said I might have a "parasite" that is
tracking my internet usage and sending me all these
annoying pop-ups. Can any one help me out??

Read about the Hosts file in Windows:
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
Also, download Spybot Search and Destroy. It'll find just about any
parasite, hijacker, etc.
