I have 2 computers on a hub sharing a single DSL connection. My computer at
my desk is the base station and a computer in another room is a work
station. I enabled file sharing on both and used the default workgroup
Mshome with the Microsoft router I have.
Problem is on the workstation the Mshome group shows up but doesn't on the
base station. When I click on the icon for the base station on the work
station I get an error that the path can't be found.
When I go back to the base station and try to search for it thru network
settings I get an error that I don't have administrator rights but yet I am
the administrator per se.
How do I fix this? I have tried to locate this in the control panel under
administrative tools but can find what I need. I want to be able to share
files and a printer with the base station and also monitor the base station
as well.
Thanks
Russ
