I find kids are smarter then us when it comes to
computers. Ask them if they changed anything. Try going
to control panel,click on sound effects manager,equalizer
tab,and see if that is turned on and re-adjusted, if so,
try with it off or all adjusted to 0db....or, go to
control panel,click on systems,hardware tab and click on
device manager.Click on sound devices and see if there
are any colored ! marks. If so click on them and try
different driver or you can troubleshoot from
there....Good luck
