My PC has no floppy disk drive, and I would like to
complete the process of preparing for Automated System
Recovery. I can do the first step of backing up files
and settings to a bkf file on my hard drive (which I will
burn to CD), but there seems to be no way to proceed with
the final step of creating the floppy disk as I have no
floppy disk drive.

Is there some workaround? I have another PC on my home
LAN that has a floppy drive, which I can share out, but
there seems to be no option in the backup tool to
redirect to anything other than a: for this final step.
It would be nice if I could just create an image I could
burn to a CD for use later should I need it, or that I
could transfer to another PC that has a floppy drive and
create the floppy from the image there.

is the floppy that the ASR process creates unique to the
PC from which it is created? Could I use a floppy
created from another Windows XP system?
