Server:LCS2005Enterprise+sp1
client: Windows Messenger5.1.0680
i installed lcs2005 at intranet, use TCP login, At intranet ,all user use
audio chat ok.
i publish lcs2005 to internet by ISA server 2004(publish TCP 5060 port).
now I can login from internet to Intranet successfullly.
Now we can chat by text.
I want use audio chat,I find microsoft artical
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/903056
so I open UDP 7100~7103 5350~5353 at ISA firewall , and then use Group
Policy registry setup client 's port range to UDP 7100~7103 5350~5353. then
i test IM from internet ,audio connnect session ok.but we cannot hear any
sound.
So I change ISA server access rule, open UDP 1024~65535, test again,Now audio
ok.
Group Policy registry has successfull setting MinMediaPort and MaxMediaPort
in my registry.
why i only open UDP 7100~7130 5350~5353 not useful? what does Group Policy
registry setting function?
thanks a lot.

hi£º
first you must download template about windows messenger
you can find RtcClient.adm from LiveCommunicationsServer disc "Server"
directory
run gpedit.msc
right click mouse from "management template" and select "add template"
select¡°RtcClient.adm¡±¡£
ok,you can find "windows messenger policy setting"->"RTC client API
policy",then set MinMedia Port,
MaxmediaPort,MinSipDynamicPort,MaxSipDynamicPort .
hope its usefull.
