I get this message when xp tries to boot (windows could
not start because the foll files is missing or currupt
\windows\system32\comfig\system

I was also instruct to use the console and enter r to
repair this I did but nothing happens scan for virus found
non using norton 2002 most resent update.

question 2) running xp on a toshiba lap top
got a blank (black screen when attempting to boot
tried running the chkdsk from the console but it keep
asking for an administrator password the problen is I a
I dont have a admin password did not need one to log on I
usually boot straight to the desk top any help will be
appreciated your toni
