Disc recording

Can I record a second time on a recordable disc. I have
tried to copy files into a writable CD the second time,
but it failed.

No, you can't write a second time to a CD-R unless you don't fill it and
leave the session open.

In order to re-write to a CD that has been closed, you need a CD-ReWritable
and compatible CD-RW burner.
