Start--> programs Corrupt??

Just a thought. Go to control panel,click on mouse.Open
buttons tab and make sure "click lock" is off. Go to
pointers tab, scheme, select Windows default(system
scheme) and then down to customize "normal select". Than
check on the Hardware tab to make sure you mouse is
listed correctly and device status is working properly.

Mouse is fine. Thanks for the thought.
I have realized that the problem only occurs when I install selected
programs.
One is AVG Pro and the other is FineCrypt. I really like both of these and
would hate to give them up.
Anyone have a clue why these would disturb the opening of a folder?
