Just a thought. Go to control panel,click on mouse.Open
buttons tab and make sure "click lock" is off. Go to
pointers tab, scheme, select Windows default(system
scheme) and then down to customize "normal select". Than
check on the Hardware tab to make sure you mouse is
listed correctly and device status is working properly.
