Go to control panel,click on systems,click hardware
tab,click device manager. Look up your sound card and see
if there are any conflicts there, you might need to
update driver. If so, go to the manufactures website
first and try to get an updated one. That is usually the
best way, or else just let XP check for new driver. Also,
if your motherboard came with onboard sound, make sure
that is disabled.....Good luck.
