automic restart

I got WIndows Xp Pro. for about 4 months now.
My computer sometimes it automatic restart it self and
when it came back it said it's scanning my C:\ drive
because of FAT32.
THis happen about two or three times a week, but today
every five minutes I get the restart by it self automatic
and doing the same stuff.
Please help me stop this annoying restart because I was
doing something in the middle, and lost its data.
Why is this happen????

Rt click My Computer>Properties>Advanced>Startup and Recovery:
Settings>uncheck automatic restart under System Failure.
