Ok I have a new motherboard installed a (ABIT A-17 GURU) I also replaced the psu from 300w to 500w and the **** thing is still crashing and rebooting, There is only so much money I can spend considering that everything I tried dosn't work.I think it has something to do with the graphics as it happens continually when playing games or in my case trying to play games.
This is what is written in the error log can anyone tell me what it means....
20 September 2005 LoadPerf The performance counter name string value in the registry is incorrectly formatted. The bogus string is 1848, the bogus index value is the first DWORD in Data section while the last valid index values are the second and third DWORD in Data section.

It's telling you there is a Registry Error.... but exactly where it would
be, I don't know.
Did you do a clean install or a repair install after the new motherboard?

I have a Radeon 9550 and like games like sims2, star trek and theme hospital.
The computer has the same problems when useing the internet or just starting up, running normal applications.
Which graphics card are you using? Which game(s) are you trying to play?
