Hi
I have a strange problem on my friends computer.
The desktop apearance is VERY strange. If you read so far, please take a look at:

The taskBar is dark and all the menues are curropted too!
I have trried several time to reinstall lateast display drivers but nothing.
Changing the display to "old win 2000 style" make things looks ok.

512MB ram
WIN XP PRO SP1
Gforce MX440SE display adapter
DVD ROM
Firewrie card
Ethernet card
modem
bulit in audio device.

Someone was playing around in the display settings.
Go to control panel , Display , Apearence tab , color sceam drop down arrow
and click on windows standard.
Should clear that up.
Hope this helps , You can also click on the theames tab and make it look
like you like

Hi,
It seems from the sceenshot that some third-party visual style has been
installed and is use, which has not been properly designed. Go to the
appearance tab under display properties and select either the Windows XP
style or the Windows classic style from Windows and buttons. See what
happens.
Also run a virus scan on your machine.
