I'm experiencing some sort of problem. Occasionally, my
screen flicks to a black screen and back on again. It's
black for only a spit second. In addition, fairly often
my mouse freezes. I can use Alt Tab and minimize what
ever I'm in at the time, almost always a game or Access
2002. I can bring up Task Manager using Crt-Alt-Delete,
but I can do nothing there. When I press Alt, I can see
the underscore under the options, such as the U in
Shutdown. If I press Alt U, I will get the options to
shut down, restart etc, but giving another command using
ALt and, for example R for restart, nothing happens. I
have to hit the reset button on the computer.
When I go to "View Detailed System Information" in Help
and support, under"Hardware
Resources", "Conflicts/Sharing" I see the following
System Information report written at: 06/22/03 20:00:48

I'm using a Microsoft Trackball Explorer Mouse, and the
latest drivers for the video card from NVidia. I tried
solving it once by using an earlier driver, but that
didn't help.

Ideas?

You could try moving your SB Audigy to a different PCI Slot. Sharing an
IRQ with the Graphics Card is risky.
Also go to www.viaarena.com and download and install the latest Via
4-1 Drivers.
