XP PRO...512 RAM. one year old Gateway. Been working
fine up til yesterday.
System shuts down, black screen, and Re-Starts. Logs do
not give a specific reason. Happens several times daily.
Gateway emailed me lots of MS info...said to DL
System Recovered Error Message UPDATE. Could NOT find on
MS Updates, or, in Knowledge base!
Error Msg after system Re-Starts:
The system has recovered from a serious problem. A log of
this error has been created....and many BCCode number
sets. MS Knowledge Base Article 316424 suggested it was
a device driver(s) that was incompatible with XP. I have
gone thru Systems and Device Manager to no avail.
