Will XP run old DOS programs, especally Quattro Pro 5.5?
I have a lot of data in it and want to upgrade to a new
computer runing XP and am not sure I will unless I can run
QPRO.

You'd be very well advised and probably very pleased with a
current generation spreadsheet, such as MS Excel 2002/XP
because of the nice tools.
You can your data as a CSV file and import it into Excel (or
any other spreadsheet). Whether a DOS version of Quattro
Pro 5.5 will run under XP, if it runs on W98 it will
probably run in XP using compatibility mode.
