When I try to cut ads and other unecessary bits from a downloaded-from-TV
movies, Nero just doesn't work.
Is there somebasic freeware to allow me to lop off bits of a movie and then
save the trimmed file for Nero transcoding?
Please help, Frank

Have you tried Windows Movie Maker 2? It's part of Windows. It's about the
only free video editing app that is worth anything.

Thanks, but Moviemaker is too slow for full-length movies.
