My computer no longer has the hibernation feature, and it is not a choice
in the power options in the control panel.

How do I reinstall the hibernation and standby feature.

I used to have both features and now neither.

GMG,

Try right clicking on your desktop and click properties. Click the
screensave tab and then at the bottom part of the box, click Power. That
will open up another box and there should be a tab at the top called
hibernate. Click that and then you will see a check box marked enable
hibernation. Click the box and the OK and hibernation should be available.
