Standby mode

My HP 752n pc only stays in the standby mode for a few
minutes then wakes up. I find that if I disconnect the
cable modem it stay asleep. HP tech support doesn't have
a clue and Microsoft Knowledge doesn't have a similar
problem listed. Any ideas??

Go into BIOS and turn off 'Wake on LAN'.

Sounds like a great idea to me. I am away from that
computer for a few days but I'll give it a try. Thanks
