I hope this is the correct place to ask. I keep getting a DVDrgn.exe error
when trying to use my new Sony DVD external USB drive. Where can I get a
copy of DVDrgn.exe? I cant find it with search on my laptop and couldnt
find it on the cd anywhere.

gtrayler,
Looks like XP may not support your drive without an update from Sony.
This article describes how to detect and (possibly) upgrade third-party
software MPEG-2 DVD decoders in Windows XP.

Thanks Treeman for the reply. The link you put up is no longer a working
link @ windows site. But I appreciate the help. When I try to play a DVD
the error tells me to select a region. I do select USA or #1 on the list
but it starts over and tells me to select a region again. Thats when I
get the DVDrgn.exe error. I searched my computer for DVDrgn.exe and it is
not on the drive. I have been trying to get a copy of it. Thanks again
