recylc bin corrupt

i get an error message that says that my recycling bin is
corrupt. the service pack was supposed to fix this but
it doesnt seem to have fixed it. any help?

Try Start>Run type: sfc /scannow This will try to repair or replace
corrupt system files. Have the WinXPcd in the drive.
