need help!!!!!

i need to know how to talk to a tech. one on one about this computer of mine.
i need them to do the remote asst. thing to make my dvd player work. it says
i got one and it's working but it won't play

You've explained it clearly enough, but remote assistance might not be the
best bet as this might be a hardware error. Whoever you tech is, can you
bring the computer to that person or have them come to you instead. And if
they have the computer, you don't have the difficulty of having to explain
it to them in detail, you can just say that it doesn't play DVDs (or
whatever you issue is) and they can test it for themselves.
