I accidentally hit a key on my keyboard and now every microsoft word
2002 document shows non printing marks in each of the four corners of
every document. they are "L" shaped with the corner pointing in towards
the page. What are they for and how are they turned on and off. I've
tried all of the different page views and they only appear in the print
layout view, which is the one I prefer to work in.

thanks

I've searched the Help files, but since I don't know what these marks
are called, I've not been able to find anything relating to them. A
little like knowing the definition, now go find the word in the
dictionary.

Could it be tools - Options - View - and uncheck "Text boundaries"?
