New computer, XP SP2, 512 ram, but using 4 year old Samtron monitor.

Only when playing on the heavy graphics of Pogo, does this computer act up.
I lose the sound, graphics go screwy, and that is on both IE and Firefox.

Resolution is low on this monitor, but the tech that built this is on
holiday and he is kind of baffled too. It has an ASUS motherboard, P5P800S.

Yesterday, IE totally crashed when playing a word game. So I did a Restore.
Still won't play nice with Pogo tho.

Anyone else having problems? I know of one or two, but so far no answers.
Oh yes, it is the same with both Sun Java versions.....1.4.2_09 and 1.5.xxx.

Thanks.....Heather (aka Figgs)

I have seen that when the video driver needs updated as well as when the
cache is full.
I delete my temp internet files before I start a Pogo game EVERY TIME!

Thanks, NotME, but I have a brand new computer (2 weeks old) with a brand
new video card and driver. I also empty my TIF a few times a day. I run a
tight, clean ship, grin!!

No....that is often the advice I give to newbies on the Pogo site, but
unfortunately it doesn't apply to me.

Guess I will have to wait till Willy the Wonder Tech gets back from Paris
and get this checked out. I have things on here that I don't even know what
they do, to be honest. ATI Catalyst Control Centre?? Not about to mess
with that until my tech tells me what on earth it is.

Cheers.....Figgs
