Hello Everyone,
I am trying to set a scheduled backup to run on my
Windows XP machine, but I am having no luck.
I was able to use the wizard to create the scheduled
task, and task scheduler is running.
In the scheduled tasks list I see the task, but "Last Run
Time" is always set to 'Never' and even though the "Next
Run Time" is set and rolls over when the scheduled time
has passed, the backup doesn't seem to occur.
The task's run command is:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ntbackup.exe backup "@C:\Documents
and Settings\Paul Ainsworth\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Windows NT\NTBackup\data\PA
Backup.bks" /n "PA_Backup.bkf created 6/25/2003 at 10:52
AM" /d "Set created 6/25/2003 at 10:52
AM" /n "PA_Backup.bkf created 6/25/2003 at 10:52
AM" /v:no /r:no /rs:no /hc:off /m
normal /j "test" /l:s /f "C:\Test\PA_Backup.bkf"
I never see the PA_Backup.bkf file in C:\test, nor does
the ntbackup process seem to launch. I am an
administrator on my machine, and the schedule log doesn't
have anything relating to this task.
If I paste the run command into a command prompt it
launches and runs fine.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
-Paul Ainsworth
