Works 6.0 spreadsheet (Windows XP)

I am using "PMT" to give me the periodic payment for a
loan, and know the formula to show the monthly PAYMENT,
but can find no provision to break down the INTEREST and
PRINCIPAL for each month. Using Excel 97, I was able to
use =IPMT (interest) & =PPMT (principal). What am I
missing? Thanks.

You are missing the mark by posting on the
"microsoft.public.windowsxp.perform_maintain" newsgroup. You need to try
one of the "works" newsgroups or "excel". heh Works does not come with
Windows XP.
