Ever since updating to Windows server 2003, the XP
machines on the network somtimes experience VERY slow
operations. When trying to create a folder on a local
drive, it can take a long time, and when doing the same on
a network drive, the operation will timeout somtimes.
Logging onto these machines can be very slow too. We are
not using roaming profiles.

Hi Martin,

Are you saying even creating a folder on the XP client is slower? Does that
repro when you create a folder from the command prompt, or if you're
disconnected from the network?
