100% CPU usage

By using WINDOWS TASK MANAGER, and clicking on the
PERFORMANCE tab, I am noticing frequent 100% CPU usage,
and during this time programs that are open will operate
slower and have delayed respones.
Is there anywat to fix this? Will creating a custom
paging file help? Right now, the Paging file is on SYSTEM
MANAGED SIZE.

What applications are causing it? When you notice the cpu spike, go to the
Processes tab in task manager and sort on the cpu column. Let us know what
you find.
