I have buttons on my keyboard that control my playing of
audio files on cd/dvd/mp3, but they aren't working at
all. I have one of the newer keyboard with all the extra
buttons on the top. I think I may have done something
that caused this to happen. I used to be able to adjust
the speaker volume from the keyboard and see the volume
control on the screen in a bright green color. I can
still adjust the volume, but I see no green. I was just
wondering if someone knows what I can do to make it to
where my play controls on the keyboard work, and when I
adjust volume on the keyboard, I would like to see it take
place (Bright Green Display).
Thanks to anyone who can help me.

Hi, Ozzybaby.

Ozzybaby, baby! That doesn't narrow it down much at all! There are at
least a dozen DIFFERENT keyboards with extra buttons and - as I said - they
are all DIFFERENT! Mine is a Microsoft cordless desktop and has buttons for
Back, Forward, Stop, Mail, Search, Favorites and Web/Home. I'll bet yours
are different. We don't have a ghost of a chance to help you unless you
tell us the make (Microsoft? Logitech? Belkin? Or ??) and exact model of
YOUR keyboard. After all, you are sitting there looking at it. All we know
is what was in your message - which wasn't much. :>(
Do you have the latest WinXP drivers for YOUR keyboard? Did you get a
floppy diskette with the keyboard? Have you checked under Support at the
manufacturer's website?

Check for an updated keyboard driver or re-install the existing driver..
