I have noticed my computer slowing down tremendously in
the past few days. I use Xp Home edition on a Pentium 4
1.6 ghz machine.When I opened the Task Manager under the
processes tab I saw the svchost.exe user name system
taking up 99 % of the cpu . After terminating the process
my computer returned to its normal speed. How can i
determine which services are controlled by this paticular
svhost.exe as i have noticed several of them on my system,
so that I can terminated those services instead of ending
this process. Til now its not caused me any problems, but
I would like to know if this could be a problem.
