I have one laptop computer. I use a wireless network to connect to internet.
My printer is connected to the computer with a USB cable.
Is it possible to connect the printer to the wireless router, so that I can
print through the wireless network without connecting the printer to the
computer with the printer cable?
(Computer: Dell Inspiron 9300, Printer: Dell Photo All-In-One Printer 942,
Router: Dell Wireless 2350 Broadband Router, Operative System: Windows XP
Professional)

All-in one printers generally have problems with networks. Usually, the
printer portion of the device will work, and scanning/faxing/copying` has
problems. Since this is a Dell unit, they should be able to tell you if the
drivers and software are compatable with networking.
