a HP1012 laser printer is hooked up to PC running 2000, My pc is running XP;;;
Can I share this printer,,, On the 2000 PC,I got as far as Settings/
Printers / Sharing, but there was no Additional Drivers for XP,,, a techie
will charge us $50 to 'hook it up'; but it seems like I am one step off?
hmmm.. if the 2000 won't 'share' with and XP,,, will it work the other way
around,, by putting the printer on my XP
((oh there is a Mac in the office as well, OS9,,, the 2000 has add
additional drivers for mac 3.5 or 4.0??? can the Mac use that printer? we've
been told the mac has to OS10 to drive that printer, but will it print
through the PC it's hooked up to?)
