Problem using Norton Systemworks virus scan with XP

When I scan with Norton AntiVirus 2003 the computer will
shut down completely. It seems It is when the scan
reaches C:\windows\i386\lang.

If anyone can assist please respond.

Why don't you set up a custom scan (and don't include that particular
folder) and see if that works.
Otherwise search the Norton's knowledge Base
