Start, All Program, Windows Update.

All that does is look in a record to see what patches you have ever
previously installed and compare it against what Mocrosoft has. It does not
actually check the dlls to make sure they are what should be in the patch.

If you change your network configuration (install or delete components) you
need to be able to check to see if there have been any updates to the dlls
in those components and then download the appropriate updates.

Windows update does not do that (unfortunately).
