Good afternoon:
I have setup several Windows XP pro machines to backup their entire computer
to a mapped network drive associated with the user of that machine. For
some reason, on all of these machines I get the following popup errors, when
the scheduled backup runs:
"Windows - Delayed Write Failed : Windows was unable to save all the data
for the file \\username\backupname.bkf. The data has been lost. This error
may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection.
Please try to save this file elsewhere."
When I looked in event viewer I found the following error:
"{Delayed Write Failed} Windows was unable to save all the data for the
file \Device\LanmanRedirector. The data has been lost. This error may be
caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please
try to save this file elsewhere."
Any ideas how I can remedy this issue?
Thanks in advance.
