I am using a 1.0 GHz PC at home, but the computer is too
slow. It takes years to reboot and this really annoys me.
I have been with this computer for almost 8 months, and
before this I had a 0.5 Ghz and was running faster than
the current model.
I have deleted some of the programmes to free up the
processor for soem tasks but it still slow. I looked at
the BIOS set up and it says has a 1.0 Ghz processor
installed.
What do I need to do?

Thanks
Kimando

Hi, Leonard.

I'm sure you don't mean "years to reboot", so what DO you mean? A minute?
10 minutes? An hour? It doesn't have to be exact, but give us something
closer than "years".

Does System Properties agree that your CPU is 1 GHz? Press Win+Break and
tell us what it says. Also, how much RAM; this often affects speed as much
as the CPU.
