If i am online and want to watch a trailer from a movie or even view a photo
a friend has sent me through AIM, i can't see it. When trying to watch a
movie clip, I only see a green screen but i can still hear sound. Please tell
me what I'm missing from my computer because i used the restore disk the
computer came with and that didn't fix the problem. Please help if you know
what im missing. Thank You.

I had a similar problem. Turned out, my firewall (zonalarm) was blocking
Media Players access to the net.

Temporarily shut down your firewall and try to watch a clip.

If it works, then make the adjustments to the firewall.
Good luck...

Thanx Burgy, I tried this but unfortunately I still can't view any movies or
photos. I was thinking it has something to do with my Intel Graphics Media
Accelerator Driver. If anyone can assist me please do.

Your motherboard's built in graphics sub-system may not be up to the task.
