Problem with Update

I am not really sure if I understand your question, are
you running dual boot and not getting 98 updates? I read
somewhere that Microsoft was going to stop supporting
Windows98 soon, but not sure when.

No I'm not running a duel boot, just XP Home. It's when I go on the
Microsoft update site, that it runs the scan and tells me there are no
updates for 98. This used to work right, but awhile ago it went south.

Try contacting Microsoft support and explain your problem
to them.You could check your registry and see if 98
update is listed instead of XP, but I couldn't tell you
what exactlly to look for...Good luck.
