Search Function

Search Function not working
Start -- Search -- Screen Displays top tool bar and
displays the words Search Companion and has an X --
nothing else is displayed.
Tool Bar -- only two which have anything -- File has
Close, Search just refreshes same screen, Folders works
as if I hit explorer ..

I had just reinstalled 'start' disks from Sony -- I
really don't want to have to go through agony of saving,
reloading ....
