disk clean up

it's been a long time since i ran the disk clean up like a
year. so i know the is a lot of stuff in there.
everytime i go to run the dick clean up it takes over 3
hours just to estmate how much it can clean then i try and
run it but it sits there doing nothing. i let it work all
day once when i went to school and nothing happened. the
cpu was working at 100% all day but not space had been
cleared. can anyone help me with this.
