Help, when I try to play any video the windows media player or other player comes on in a window like normal but in like 3 seconds it changes to fullscreen mode and won't respond to any key prompts and I have to manually shut down the computer. I've checked all the display settings etc and everything is normal. I have a Sony Vaio about a year old. Can anyone help me?

In WMP click on tools, options, chk the box "connect to internet" then open

It now seems like the problem is in my dvd player/recorder because when I attempt to open Vaio Click to DVD it opens and immediately freezes so I can't even get at it to check. I then have to shut down or unplug my computer.
Very frustrating...............
