Recipients disappearing from send list?

I'm trying to send a fax to a large number of recipients. I have a word
document open, selecting print, fax and selecting the recipients from my
Outlook Contact list. They all have Fax Numbers in their profiles. This had
been working fine with all selected recipients appearing in the fax consoles
outbox, then after completing they faxes all show in the sent box.

Now all of a sudden, the behavior has become very sporadic. I will choose
all 200 recipients and sometimes it will only have 15 items show up in the
fax console, sometimes 30, sometimes all of them. I have tried adding the
Fax Transport and sending an email as an attachment to the recipients. The
same behavior occurs. I have also tried using wordpad to send a test
document/fax and the same behavior occurs.

I have uninstalled office and reinstalled. I have uninstalled fax console
and reinstalled. I have made sure that all the updates are installed for
windows xp and office.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

I'm really surprised you were able to successfully broadcast to that many
recipients; XP Fax is usually not good for more than about 10 recipients,
more often around 3 or 4. The best suggestion I can offer is to purchase
some real fax software that's designed to do broadcast faxing. Having said
that, did anything change on your system when the problem started?
"Anything" would include such things as driver updates, Windows updates, new
software, new hardware, etc.

It's actually my sister's laptop. She works for my dad, who has a lunch
shop. He sends out the daily special to the businesses in the area that
sign up to receive a daily special's menu.
She is very hesitant to run any windows updates or driver updates on her own
so I doubt anything changed. At first, I wasn't sure if some adware/spyware
hadn't been installed, but running spybot and spy doctor didn't turn
anything up. Virus scans also show nothing. I guess the best bet is to buy
some fax software. It just aggravating since it had been working perfectly
fine. The behavior is just so erratic. One time it works, the next time
only 15 or 20 show up in the outbox... Thanks for your input... any
suggestions on how it may be fixed aside from buying fax software? Any
suggestions for fax software?
