Prints on back of separator page

I have a weird problem with a Canon Image running 3220 and a separator
page loaded for the printer. For some reason, the printer will print
the 1st page of a duplex-print document on the other side of the
separator page.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem? Could the separator
page be corrupt?

Separator page is used to separate documents, not pages.
