Hello Everyone,

My PC refuses to boot up, and the screen that appears is
the one that prompts if I want to start: safe mode, safe
mode with networking, last known good configuration.

It gives me approx. 30 seconds to decided, and if I do
nothing it defaults to 'normal', and it will subsequently
begin the 'process' all over again. I am unable to boot
into safe mode and am unable to do anything. I would like
to reinstall the software but am not sure how to do this
since I cannot even boot.

Any assistance would be helpful.

If the last solution given doesn't help, do a repair install with the WinXP
Pro CD.
