Excuse me if I am wrong here.. I do not believe that anything is wrong with
your video card so don't go out and spend 60 bucks on a new one! If I am
correct the noise you believe was put on by hp for your printer is probably
the noise Windows XP makes when you plug and unplug a USB device. If your
mouse is not USB then I may be wrong but that is what it is sounding like to
me. You could have a faulty USB port or a faulty mouse. I would try
plugging the mouse into another USB port and seeing if it keeps happening.
If that does not fix it then I would imagine that your Mouse is bad and you
need to replace it....(as long as all other USB devices such as a printer do
not cut in and out in which case you would need to get a PCI USB card or
replace your motherboard). But again if I am wrong here and you do not have
a USB mouse then my solution is not correct.
