I have been using briefcase for over a year. My old portable died and I got a
new ZV6000. Yhe Process of creating and syncing the briefcase is not problem
Both laptop and desktop are running XP home with latest updates.
For some reason, SOME mp3 files will not play when inserted into a Power
Point presentation. Other files work fine. I cannot identify any differences
in the files. They all work fine on the desktop.
Trouble shooting: Checked and double checked the process and results with
other files. Some work, others don't. All work fine using Windows Media
Player.
I directly moved a problem file from the desktop to the laptop My Documents
(not the briefcase), and it works fine.
This seems to narrow the problem to the way in which the briefcase is
receiving the files from the desktop. It has only arisen with the new
computer.
Side issue: briefcase will not transfer .bap workfiles which are created
when using RipEditBurn software. The error message is "file in use:" which it
isn't. Inconvenient to locate and delete the .bap files - would like to find
solution.
