Hello
XP home, 3 user accounts, Me, Wife & Guest. Wife & I have administrator
privileges via user accounts.
I would like to run windows backup from my profile for the my documents
folders for both my wife & I. The trouble is I do not have access to my
wife's my documents folder. Always access denied. Trying to activate this
folder for sharing the box to put the tick in to allow sharing is all
blanked out not giving the option.
My my documents folder has sharing activated and can be viewed from my
wife's profile but why not the other way?

Cheers

You are miss understanding the use of the share tab. The share tab is
for sharing that files over windows file sharing, not on the local
computer. What you need to do is to edit here user acount and make it
"unprivet".
