Whats the significance of all the items listed under STARTUP in the
System Configuration Utilty .?

If ALL are disabled will Windows start more quickly .??.

Yes! But thats not such a good idea. The significance of the list is that
they are the programs that start automatically when your computer starts.
Obviously you want your Anti Virus to start, so if you remove it from that
list you're in trouble. Try writting down what the list contains and then
do a Google on them to determine what they are and if you need them.

Yes, if all are disabled windows will start more quickly, how ever
some one them are probably classed as esential and are needed, you
disable them at your own risk.
