I have set the sound scheme to windows "NO SOUND
and applied, but when I adjust the volume using the volume control window,
main 'Volume Control' slider, it beeps extremely loudly, with no way of
controlling the volume of it. Even if I set up my own scheme, it still beeps
on adjustment. When I use the windows default scheme, it beeps but reflets
the volume of the level of the slider. Most annoying. HElp Me please....

It seems to me that you might have your speakers up a bit too loud.

I've always tried to adjust my sound first through a pair of headphones,
then adjust the speaker volumes.

I look at the WINDOWS volume control as a master control, which is why I do
that with the headphones (to get the right volume) then adjust the volume on
the outside speakers.

That Boing noise you get when you adjust the volume is going to be quite
loud if the speaker volume is up there.
